Poorly known and excluded in the calculations are:

• Emissions of particulate matters
• Flown distance in reality is longer than the used great circle distance.

Taxi time is included in the calculations but this is a factor that varies. The treatment of reserve fuel is another source of error. A discussion, and an attempt to quantify, the unknown factors is presented here.
