Emissions of CO for HDV
The emission standards used for legal requirements aims to reflect real life operation. A consequence is that test cycles for emission standards develops continuously. This means that emission levels of regulated emissions have become increasingly more stringent over the years. This is also valid within the Euro VI emission standard as the latest version is significantly tougher than the first version.
NTM uses samples of real data to assess emissions. According to latest data the effect is clear in relation to emissions of CO.
Gross weight/Euro class/after treatment of fumes | CO (g/km) |
34-40t Euro-IV EGR | 0.85 |
34-40t Euro-IV SCR | 1.94 |
34-40t Euro-V EGR | 0.57 |
34-40t Euro-V SCR | 1.87 |
34-40t Euro-VI | 0.19 |
