Lecture on reduced emissions through more efficient packaging solutions
Actions to reduce emissions of Greenhouse gases are often too narrow-minded about fuels, vehicles and modes of traffic. An often-overlooked area of actions are smarter protection and packaging of goods in order to transport more goods with equivalent product protection with the same vehicle or vessel. This reduces emissions of greenhouse gases while lowering costs.
During a one-hour introductory lecture with practical examples, we listen and discuss the subject with Sweden’s leading researchers in packaging logistics, Professor Henrik Pålsson at Lund University of Technology.
