NTM 2021 annual member meeting the 21st of April – primary energy supply
The annual member meeting aims to kick off several digital lectures on present and future primary energy sources for the transport industry. The transformation towards use of clean and renewable energy is highly dependent on available primary energy sources. Not the least electricity where most industrial sectors seem to look for their future solutions.
Shifting transport operation towards use of renewable sources by 2050 meanwhile fulfilling present and future transport demand is likely to require different solutions for different time perspectives, linked to available energy sources and other scarce minerals.
The first seminar will deal with general transport related forecasts on energy demand. Later on, we will invite experts on potential sources such as wood, crops, power from hydro, wind, photovoltaic, nuclear and also other potential primary energy sources.
